For our rental broker, the efficient renting of your property is central. If you choose to rent out your property through Makelaardij & Co, it is important that there is a good connection. It is therefore our preference to have an appointment on location or a telephone meeting before the start of the rental. If we come to an agreement, we sign the service agreement together. After it's signed we immediately start planning professional photographs and preparing the draft rental agreement and content for the advertisement. Once we have enough responses from potential tenants, the viewings will be scheduled. After the viewing, interested candidates will want to introduce themselves as potential tenants. This will be shared with you so you can choose your preferred tenant. Once your choice is final, we draw up the draft of the rental agreement and share it with you for approval. After your approval, we will offer the lease agreement to the tenant(s).
Once all parties have agreed our rental agent takes the initiative to offer a version of the rental agreement that can be signed online. Once signed and after payment (first monthly rent and the deposit), the official check-in and key transfer will be scheduled. Of course, we also prepare a comprehensive inspection report. In this report, the tenant and our rental agent both sign to confirm the condition of the property in which the tenant has received it. The inspection report can be used as an aid, when your tenant leaves the property.
